Biography
Ibrahim Attallihi is a media designer and researcher, born in the Netherlands and raised between Amsterdam and the Rif Mountains in Morocco. His bi-cultural background deeply informs his visual language, which blends video collage, documentary forms, and experimental aesthetics. His work explores themes of globalization, migration, and Amazigh heritage, often through interdisciplinary collaborations that merge sound, moving image, and installation.
In 2025, Attallihi served as Creative Director for the album artwork of Forensics, a collaborative record by Yasiin Bey and acclaimed producer The Alchemist. He was also Art Director for the Brave Poets benefit concert in London (2024), produced by Artists for Humanity. In Amsterdam, he is Coordinator and Programmer of Ventilator Cinema, an autonomous film and performance space in OT301, part of the Amsterdam Alternative network (2023–present).
After studying Digital Video Design at HKU (University of the Arts Utrecht), he spent several years in London building a creative network in music and film. He collaborated with production houses such as Roman Candle Productions, on Afro Punk Girl and The Arrival worked on Netflix series, and contributed to international art fairs and museum exhibitions. His video collages and installations have been shown across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
